Chris Kippenberger and I met in December 2022 to discuss a collaboration surfboard. We launched it on the @vehiculemagazine website as a 1 of 1 item and placed it now on display at FAENA Miami Beach. The board is 6’0” x 19.125 x 2.5 and an exact replica of my super sport (SS) model which is designed to be surfed at the limit of high performance—appropriate considering Vehicule’s devotion to the avant garde in racing, motorsports and art. The board is constructed from a stringered EPS blank from @keahanausa, laminated in @boardlams fiberlams, and @kong.technology epoxy construction making it shockingly lightweight and strong. Lastly, the display stand is a custom design, engineered by Jack 1 specially for Advanced Research.
