GX is a two-step down shortboard from Advanced Research. It’s small wave ripper that packs fast acceleration, paddle and maneuverability in a compact design.
Extra foam on the GX’s deck activates for stability and paddle at low speeds when the board is deeper in the water. At speed, the performance rail maintains a responsive feel with hold and positive drive. Under the hood is a low, continuous rocker with a contemporary single to double concave and very subtle vee out the tail. Ride it 3–4” shorter than your shortboard.
